Architectural visualization is the process of creating imagery that accurately reflects the built environment before construction begins.

Traditionally, visualizing a home or development was done through an artist's interpretation or rendering. This approach has been adequate for some purposes. However, traditional

renderings have often lacked the realism necessary to reflect the look of the final project. This has often lead to doubts in the minds of the viewers. Computers have also been used as visualization tools but the results have often been cold and artificial.

At Nexus Multimedia we have taken a different approach. We have combined art, photography, and technical backgrounds to create a unique system that focuses on realism.
This has led to a visualization process which is extremely effective for a variety of uses.

Architectural visualization can be used as a design tool, a marketing tool and a communication tool. As a design tool, it affords a realistic view of design changes before any final and expensive decisions are made. Difficult to visualize designs and details can be accurately viewed early in the process. This often leads to a better design at a lower cost. Images like the ones shown in our gallery are a fantastic marketing tool. They are capable of generating sales before any construction investment begins. By clearly being able to see what something looks like before it actually exists, the images have now become a powerful communication tool which can show the impact of construction to zoning officials, neighboring residents, financial backers and others. Accurate imagery helps remove the doubt and allows those involved to agree on a design and help to expedite the process

HOW TO WORK WITH A VISUALIZATION COMPANY
If you are thinking about using a visualization company for a
project, there are a few things you should keep in mind:

  • A clear purpose for your project is necessary so that the best
methods are chosen to create your final imagery.

  •  Physical plans and/or ideas will be needed for everything from
creating the imagery to pricing the project.

  •  Time-frame is an important issue to consider whether the job is large or small.

  •  Examples of building materials are necessary in order to accurately recreate them.
